Privacy Policy

Alamento, Inc. · Effective July 30, 2026

Alamento, Inc. (“Alamento,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides building intelligence services — inspections, condition assessments, and reporting — to owners and managers of multifamily and commercial properties. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you give us directly, including: contact details (name, email address, company, and message contents) when you use our contact form; application materials (name, contact details, work history, and anything else you include) when you apply for a position; signature records (name, title, company, email address, and typed signature) when you execute an agreement with us electronically; and account information (name and email address) when you are invited to and sign in to our client portal, including basic profile information provided by Google if you sign in with a Google account.

2. Client Property Data

In providing our services we collect and process information about our clients' properties on their behalf — including photographs, audio recordings, inspection notes, condition assessments, and related records. This information is processed under our agreements with those clients, is treated as confidential, and is used only to provide the services. If you have questions about property data held about a building you own or occupy, please contact the property's owner or manager, or reach us at the address in Section 11.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we and our hosting providers automatically collect standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and timestamps. For electronically signed agreements, we record the IP address and browser information associated with the signature as part of the execution record. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics services on our public website.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: session cookies that keep you signed in to the client portal and protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but portions of the client portal will not function without them.

5. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to: provide, operate, and improve our services; respond to inquiries and communicate with you; evaluate job applications; maintain records of executed agreements; secure our systems and prevent fraud or abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing purposes.

6. Service Providers

We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf to run our business — including cloud hosting and infrastructure, file storage, email delivery, and AI-assisted processing used in preparing our work product (for example, transcription of inspection recordings and drafting assistance for reports). These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to the transferred information.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above: contact inquiries for as long as useful to respond and maintain our records; job applications for the duration of the hiring process and a reasonable period afterward; executed agreements and their signature records for as long as legally relevant; and client property data for the period specified in our agreement with the client. We may retain information longer where required by law or held in routine backups.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls, and invitation-only access to the client portal. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in Section 11; we will respond consistent with applicable law. Where we process property data on behalf of a client, we may refer your request to that client. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising their privacy rights.

10. Children

Our website and services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated version on this page. Material changes will be communicated to client portal users by email or through the portal. Your continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
